Hey there Lex fans. It's a world of music out there and there's a plethora
of audio streams in this mailout to add to it...

LEX RECORDS 'ONE WORLD RADIO ONE SPECIAL'
Listen to the audio stream of me mumbling about the label (Jesus!!?? I
didn't think I was going to sound that bad!!) and lots of new Lex material:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/urban/oneworld/lex_records.shtml The show
features a DM & Jemini interview and five live songs, new music from Prince
Po, Hymie's Basement, The Black Dice, Non-Prophets, DJ Signify, Buck65, Sole
and Boom Bip... A massive thank you to Ben at the BBC!

JOE BEATS & SAGE FRANCIS : NON-PROPHETS "HOPE" AUDIO
"Hope" drops on 29th August in Europe and 7th October in the USA. Click on
this link to hear a 20 minute run through snippets of the new Sage Francis &
Joe Beats album :

DM & JEMINI "GHETTO POP LIFE" OUT TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 9TH IN USA
What more can I say? ... Well probably "Go out and buy it!" but that's a bit
crass. By now anyone reading these e-mails must be aware how hot this record
is. Here's a quote from SPIN "The odd couple's remarkable debut, Ghetto Pop
Life, is an alternate-universe party record in the tradition of the Pharcyde
(who guest on Medieval) that peppers the cinematic sweep of Dr. Dre with
exuberant indie quirks" ... You can listen to 2 minutes of each song here :
http://www.lexrecords.com/docs/catalogue/010.html Go out and buy the album
now!

DM & JEMINI EURO FALLOUT
Danger Mouse & Jemini came to Europe and hammered the late summer festivals
(Pukkelpop, Reading, Leeds), played a swanky niteklub packed with lovely e'd
up monsters and blew everyone away at their headline show at The Scala. The
Guardian reviewed the show (read it here :
http://www.guardian.co.uk/arts/reviews/story/0,11712,1032126,00.html) and
gave it 4 stars. Yo, why not 5? It's a cruel world. I think
www.playlouder.com liked it too
(http://www.playlouder.com/feature/+dangermouseandje/) You can check out
some pictures from show here - http://www.musicalbear.com/photos/dm-j/ -
look for Jemini and J-Zone in the middle of the crowd on radio mics during
the "Take Care Of Business" finale...

DM & JEMINI ON THE AIR
Did you think that those two ghetto pop stars would come over and not
squeeze themselves on to every minute of airtime they could? Well if you did
_not_ think that then you were right. The others, better luck next time.
Listen to DM & Jemini live on Mary Anne Hobbs' Breezeblock show on BBC Radio
One (Peaches is on there too) :
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/breezeblock/ and feast your eyes on DM &
Jemini on the Zane Lowe show :
