I agree with mrgriffrox! No big stadium dance/pop acts. They were all great back in the day but they will just attract arseholes nowadays! Keep it underground!!!

Ben Pest, Rrritalin, Michael Forshaw, Squire of Gothos, Mustard Gunn, Clark, Luke's anger, Edit (the coin operated/don't/bernard's haircut edit) Go Hiyama, Reeko, Exium, Fran Hartnett, Rory St John, Voidloss, Cursor Miner, Blackmass Plastics, Reche and Recall8, Paul Birken, Bas mooy, Boddika...

I've seen this kind of nonsense suggested in a few posts now.
Why do people even think that the Bloc organisers would consider booking acts like this?

Josh Wink
Luciano
Hernan Cattaneo
Leftfield/F.S.O.L/The Orb in some way, shape or form would always b nice..
Seth Troxler back. DMZ back.. Aphex Twin back pretty please!
To be honest the line up was cracking this year.. more of the same is the order of the day.

not sure if they have already played previous blocs?, only just listened to their new album
Kryptic Minds would be awesome on that Funktion 1 system.

I think theres 2 points to remember as has been stated. This isnt T in the Park with the big stadium acts or cheesemeisters (Luciano) but also that Bloc is not Bangface either. Glade festival started booking big well known headliners and the one before it got cancelled was full of kids going purely for the endless wobbly dubstep and Andy C (and as much mephedrone as they could shovel up their noses  )

I say keep the quality high but think about preserving the amazing crowd that bloc attracts.

And please book Sascha Funke

but how is Luciano any different to Laurent Garnier for instance? and that was pretty epic. Yeah i agree no1 wants to see Andy C ( endless spinbacks and chartastic crowd pleasers ) but some top quality house/techno IS in order.. for all of us who arent on plant fertilizer.

dont get me wrong for the closing set i think a well known name playing danceable music is exactly right. My point was we dont want the lineup to start looking like a sunday @ Space , Ibiza. As good as they are its not really the Bloc vibe I dont think. Also any recent footage of Luciano would suggest he's regularly commiting crimes against respectable house music and playing some fine mature cheddar.
