^ That's a completely different event though.

I just wish BLOC would hurry and release the dates and location, so I can attempt to book time off work. Where I work May - Sept next year is fully booked off by other people already, so I think I'm pretty much screwed.

I had the dates for March off, and was happy it wouldn't clash with any other festivals.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it turns out okay though..

C'mon BLOC!!

maybe it's just my paranoid state of mind but I'm beginning to think that the good people at BLOC are struggling to nail down a venue for 2012.
Perish the thought - BLOC 2011 was the grand finale. BLOC is no more.

I couldn't agree more, got a bad feeling that Bloc Weekender will be no more and they will just continue with the Eastern Electrics/New Year things. If this is the case then it would nice to be kept in the loop. The bombshell was dropped well over a month ago and then zip. I know we are loyal BLOCwknd but it would be nice for some news soon, I presume a lot of us have got to book annual leave and stuff for next year, I know I have and it's getting harder and harder to put off. Knowing my luck they will release the dates and I wont be able to get them off :(

It does come across like they are struggling to nail down a venue, like you said. I hope they are just waiting to get full confirmation before they let any information out.

To be honest though the later they leave it (even if it's later in the year) the greater the chance that either people cant book the time off at work or are already busy that weekend. If they plan on increasing the capacity as well then it could go a bit tits up when they find out half of the "regulars" can't actually go.

Bloc, pleeease can we have some information?!. Even as vague as a 2 month time window and which end of the country it will be. I don't think it's too much to ask for us commited Bloc'ers, unless you don't have a clue yourselves! :P

We appreciate that all cannot be revealed at the moment but can you give ANY indication as to what time of the year we are talking about here ?
Even just tell us when the announcement will be made public?

I'm all for building tension but its gone past the fun stage now into re-goddamn-diculous. Email me when the news comes out, I'm past caring... (until then anyway)

Thanks for the update!

I've entered my details on the link you've sent, the link for the survey seems dead?

How strange, there was a post on here yesterday that has been mysteriously removed. I wonder why

Tis very strange. It's obviously absolutely nothing to do with the venue, they probably deleted it by accident
