The new Dedbeat website will be launched Monday 24 November, with a new look, new things and above all the best way to keep up to date on all the latest happenings in the world of the Ded, so log on at your pleasure as from Monday. Below are some events we've got coming up. Something for all.

Fri 5th Dec, 8pm-1am @ the ICA, LONDON
AS PART OF THE PLAYLOUDER FESTIVAL DED PRESENTS: GESCOM dj, CASSETTE BOY, DJ RUBBISH, FUJIYA & MIYAGI, AI RECORDS FEAT: CLARO INTELLECTO, YELLOTONE, ADJ AND MICHAEL MANNING.

Gescom will be controlling the turntables and showing the arty ones whys their institute is so contemporary. Cassette Boy - The last gig they did involved them dressing as Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks and chucking each other about for 20 minutes! Doing gigs rarely, expect hilarious political satire acted out in the guise of Mary and Jesus, Bush and Bin Laden or Frank and Pat Butcher. They'll be alongside Barry's Bootleg companion DJ Rubbish who the NME liked it so much they rated 29th coolest person in rock 2002, describing him as ‘utterly underground’. AI records, an exciting London imprint are tipped for big things; "One of the most collectable labels in the world today." - Warp Records. They’ll be showcasing the live abilities of three fresh talents, leaving the finesse of the band Fujiya & Miyagi to end the night with a subtlety and loveliness.

Full Price : £9.Concession : £8.ICA Members : £7. for more info http://www.ica.org.uk OR www.playlouder.com

Thurs 11th Dec, 9am-1am @ the Mean Fiddler, LONDON
