It may be OK for guys but is rubbish for girls. Unfortunately 80's stuff is back in fashion so you won't even be able to tell who is in fancy dress. I don't even remember there being many girls in Miami Vice anyway.

That's not true! There are loads of female characters. 'Dynasty' is another good template.

Some ideas..

big hair
pastels
swimwear
high heals
shoulder pads
fake jewellry
sunglasses
bikinis
loud tasteless colours
leopard print
gold
rank trouser suits
hotpants
lots of make-up

OK, Maybe it is doable but I can assure you that bikinis and very high heels are defo out - I do like to be able to dance..

80's stuff is in fashion though and things like the bold colours and costume jewellry are what you see in Top Shop etc anyway.

Anyway, I'll give it my best shot

same here... i'm thinkin along the lines of a cuban smuggler/dealer...hawaiian shirts, gold chains, and maybe packin a chainsaw or two for good measure. have some serious cops n robbers shenanigans with randoms...all to an italo disco soundtrack...sounds like the best craic ever :)

Hehe, I'm going along those lines too.
Prob the Colombians from Scarface.

1. Hawaian shirt
2. White/pastel slacks
3. Loafers
4. Big Glasses
5. Possibly trim my beard down to leave a big 'tache and chops.
6. Brandy on the rocks

If anyone is interested in either of these I will stick one of them back on eBay:

MENS 80's LIGHT BLUE 2-PIECE RETRO SUIT SMALL 36" R

Basically, I went a bit too far!
