Gallus*
*definition: Dialect, chiefly Glaswegian ~adj. 1. stylish, impressive (eg: “He’s pure gallus, by the way“).
2. confident, bolshy, cheeky.
3. Orig. derogatory, meaning wild; a rascal; deserving the gallows.

What?
A new London club adventure. Expect live leftfield acts. Expect DJs pushing only new sounds. Expect hype to transform to quality under your own dancing feet.

Acid Washed live (Record Makers)
This Parisian duo startled with their debut LP back May melding together a baroque fusion of late nineties French house and DFA style disco touches that nod a head to Chicago and Detroit, creating a unique cinematic soundscape of unparalleled electro that is quintessentially ‘French’. Expect acerbic electronics. Their new EP, featuring remixes from The Hacker, Mickey Moonlight and DANGER no less is out on the 17th September.

We Love live (Bpitch Control) UK LP Launch
A duo of sublime pop cadavers, Giorgia Angiuli and Piero Fragola, found a quick home on Bpitch Control winning Ellen Alien’s backing with a glacial sound that’s as captivating as their live show which sees theatrics and drama interwoven with stunning visuals as they woo audiences with sounds from their self-made black and white instruments. As equally inspired by Coil as by the scent of amber their music they say is “the point where the modern world meets the old world.” Come find that place.

Shit Robot (DFA Records) UK LP Launch
Hammering down a manifesto in slick balearica, twisted disco and a sprinkling of warehouse chic, we are proud to host the launch of Shit Robots debut LP ‘From the Cradle to the Rave’ a work described as the history of DFA records in one album. We agree. He’s been DJing around the world since 92 and Marcus is as much a musical melting pot as his adopted New York.

Night Plane (Thisisnotanexit)
Night Plane is a solo mission piloted by Texan William Rauscher, taking off from base camp in New York. Destination: The world. Boasting a deadly armament of on-point explosive productions which have been championed across the board by those who matter. As a means of introduction, look no further than ‘Str8 2 Ur Heart released on This Is Not An Exit later this year. See also his dreamy remix of Ariel Pink's, Round & Round. Over and out.
