I assume Buckie is sold on site ?

Never been to BLOC, and can't bring it on plane with me.

We may collectively organise enough excess Buckie to help the needing, we may not - there is none on site - unless..... is it sold in the Morrisons or Tesco... anyone?

Most attendees pick it up en-route in Bristol or London.

Where do you fly to?

Shop locations and other splendid info to be found in this thread.

2008 map here.

Don't worry too much though. Our Buckie is your Buckie [offer applies during the meetup only. Don't get ANY IDEAS].

Thanks.

Nice one.

We don't have flights booked yet, but it will be either Bristol or Heathrow i'd say.

I think we'll be renting a car so a trip to tesco will be in order.

Nice one

Hey there,

It's my first BLOC and I don't know what it's neither the meaning of BUCKFAST Meetup neither what it's about...

Could anyone explain it?

Buckfast is some really crazy booze. It's full of nasty chemicals and sulphur and gets you a special kind of weird.

At Bloc Weekend we will be meeting up to celebrate our passion for the elixir. Like minded individuals will all drink and be merry under the influence of a shared Buckfast ritual that only group binging can bring.

London Buckfast Locations:

Kings Cross
Walk straight out of the main entrance. Find KFC. Off licence 4/5 shops down from KFC. Sells Khat and Buckfast.

Finsbury Park.
Finsbury Park superstore on Blackstock Road.
Jack's Booze on Stroud Green Road

Caledonian Road.
Off Licence 6 shops down from the Co-op shop just out of Caledonian Road and Barnsbury station.

Mile End
come out the station and turn left, walk past the bookies and the first newsagent on the left hand side sells it.

Aldgate
come out the station and find commercial road. Keep walking up for a bout 300 yards and there will be two 24hr off licences on your left. Both sell it. If both are sold out, the shop across the road with the yellow 'cobra beer' sign sells it.

Whitechapel
come out the station and turn left, keep walking past the blind beggar and across the road. walk past nandos on your left hand side then cross to the other side of the road at the next set of lights. on your right hand side is a bunch of newsagents. Three of them sell it

Bethnal Green
come out the station and walk north up cambridge heath road. after a BP garage on your left hand side is a pub called the Dundee Arms. Only pub I know of in London that sells it by the bottle or by the glass.

Bexleyheath
going to london side, come out the station and turn right, from london turn left. Go to the top of the road and turn right. Keep walking for 100 yards and on your right is an off licence that sells it.

Brixton
Come out the station and turn right, take your first right again walk for about 200 yards and take another right and theres a wee off licence that sells it there. reasonably cheap as well.
